Young fans chanted Xander Bogaerts' name when they saw him handing out World Series gear
Trick or treating usually consists of kids in costume knocking on doors and asking for candy. But on the day before Halloween, things got shaken up a little. That's because World Series-winning Red Sox shortstop
Naturally, when the kids saw him, they started chanting:
an entire playground full of kids started chanting “red sox” and “xander bogaerts” when they saw him giving out world series champions gear to some fans.

While Bogaerts may have been wearing his jersey so fans could recognize him, I like to think that he's going to wear it all winter long to celebrate his second World Series title. After all, he did save his 2013 World Series T-shirt to wear under his uniform this year.
