No matter what we do or say or eat, we can't control the weather. It's far more powerful than us. It strikes whenever it pleases.
So, when Kris Bryant hit a high popup above the infield during Friday's D-backs-Cubs game, that famous Chicago wind took control and, welp.

Look at poor Wilmer Flores. Reduced to crawling along the ground 20 feet from where the ball actually dropped.
Ketel Marte also fell victim to Mother Nature's wrath, as did a TV monitor. Nobody and nothing is safe.
