Willy Adames made a sparkling dive on a grounder and then, well, threw the ball straight into the ground

Willy Adames, Rays' No. 1 prospect and No. 22 in all of baseball, has hit at every level in which he's played. He clubbed 10 homers with 11 steals and a .776 OPS at Triple-A Durham last season. He's also a plus-defender with "soft hands, smooth footwork and plus arm strength." 
During the Rays' game against the Angels on Wednesday, the 22-year-old showed off those soft hands and that smooth footwork on a Justin Upton ground ball. But, um, then there was that arm:


Hey, it happens. Especially when you're trying to get a quick runner like Upton out. He also hit a dinger later in the game. I mean, what were you doing when you were 22? Huh? HUH?
