White Sox will be 'Winning Ugly' next year with '83 uniforms and Harold Baines ... as a racing mascot

Retro is cool. I mean, look at this guy.

The White Sox are tipping a cap -- and a jersey to the past in 2013. The Southside squad will be wearing 1983 throwback uniforms during Sunday home games this season. That year's AL West-winning team was embraced and celebrated by ChiSox fans for "Winning Ugly," a slogan coined by then-Rangers manager Doug Rader for the team's scrappy style of play.

And if that's not enough, the White Sox are also bringing back '83 stars Harold Baines, Carlton Fisk and Ron Kittle as seventh-inning stretch retro racing mascots.
