The White Sox statues were outfitted in USWNT jerseys in honor of the Women's World Cup
The outfield concourse at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago is home to some statues commemorating some of the most important players to wear a White Sox jersey over the years, but on Monday they had a fresh look.
With the United States Women's National Team set to battle Thailand in the Women's World Cup on Tuesday, the statues of Carlton Fisk, Frank Thomas, Paul Konerko and Harold Baines were seen sporting USWNT jerseys prior to Chicago's game with the Nats.
And boy, did they look great.

The custom of putting jerseys over statues is something that you see quite frequently in Los Angeles given the number of statues outside Staples Center. It's not uncommon to see a Kings jersey on Magic Johnson's Lakers statue, for example.
Definitely a fresh look for this quartet of White Sox legends, that's for sure.
