Folks, José Altuve is in the final stretch of what has been a tremendous, MVP-caliber season for the Houston Astros. There's no disputing the impact the 5-foot-6 infielder has had for his club, especially while his double-play partner Carlos Correa was on the DL with a broken thumb. But there's one problem, ladies and gentlemen: Mr. Altuve -- he of the .565 SLG% -- is still playing second base. 
This level of offensive production from the keystone position is unprecedented in recent baseball history, and it is unsettling to say the least. "2B" and ".950+ OPS" simply do not belong together in the same sentence. Here at The Grill, we advocate one obvious way for the Houston Astros to handle this situation.
