The people want to see Tim Tebow hit home runs, so Tebow mashed some dingers during BP

Tim Tebow knows what the people want, and the people want dingers. He hit dingers in high school and he hit dingers during his MLB showcase at the end of August. And on Tuesday, he hit dingers during instructional league batting practice with the St. Lucie Mets, sending baseballs over the outfield fence and bouncing against the equipment shed.

The crowds in Port St. Lucie (which are quite large) gathered 'round to watch Tebow persevere through his career change, sure, but they were also there to watch him demolish some baseballs. Because if this baseball player version of Tebow possesses any tool, it's power
So really, Tim, there's no reason to be bashful.
"Today, we were working on just trying to go gap-to-gap and keeping everything in the gaps," Tebow told MLB.com's Alyson Footer after practice on Tuesday. "There is a focus, and that's the goal. If you get one good and it goes a little farther, that's good, too."
It's better than good, Tim -- especially because now we know how you got so strong.
Watch above for more Tebow dinger goodness, and below for Tebow's take on Day 2 of his professional baseball career:
