Robinson Cano did a pretty good impression of Jose Bautista's batting stance at first base

One of the great things about the World Baseball Classic is seeing many of MLB's prodigious sluggers share a lineup, often hitting back-to-back. Robinson Cano, for example, bats third in the Dominican Republic's stacked World Baseball Classic order, and Jose Bautista bats fourth. This gives Cano a perfect vantage point to appreciate what Bautista -- who positively crushed a home run against Canada last week -- can do at the plate.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, they say, and while stationed at first base during the Dominican Republic's 3-1 loss to Puerto Rico on Tuesday (the team's first Classic loss since 2009), Cano mimicked his teammate at the plate.

Can you see it? The high hands rocking the bat back and forth, the smooth swing -- he definitely seems to be going for Bautista.

All it was missing was a monumental bat flip.
