Watch Aaron Sanchez use his curveball to turn Mitch Moreland's bat into swiss cheese

Ready for the understatement of the century: Aaron Sanchez has a very good curveball. Batters hit only .147 off the pitch this year while striking out 88 times off the bender. He showed that skill off against Mitch Moreland in the second inning of Sunday's 7-6 victory to sweep the Rangers in the ALDS. Long before Moreland hit an RBI double, the first baseman had worked the count to 3-2. But Sanchez unleashed an 83.8-mph curveball that perfectly dropped into the bottom part of the zone.
He showed that off again in the third. With Ian Desmond at the plate, Sanchez got Desmond to flail wildly at a 1-2 pitch.
While Sanchez wasn't as sharp as he could be, surrendering six earned runs in 5 2/3 IP, his curve was still something magical to watch. The Blue Jays will play Game 1 of the ALCS on Friday night in Boston or Cleveland (time TBD). The ALCS will be broadcast on TBS, as well as Sportsnet and RDS (in French) in Canada.
