Watch a velociraptor 'throw' a first pitch and help turn Chase Field into a ... Jurassic ballpark
Dinosaurs have taken over ballparks across MLB. We've seen it on more than a few occasions, whether roaming the stands or on the actual field of play. In defense of humans, though, dinosaurs can be rather intimidating, so who are we to stop them?
This trend continued before Friday night's Marlins-D-backs game at Chase Field when a velociraptor took the mound and threw -- OK, it was more of a toss or a spit, which would be a more appropriate term -- the ball toward the plate and let out a great celebratory howl afterward:
A dinosaur threw out the first pitch on STEM Showcase night.

We repeat, a dinosaur threw out the first pitch. pic.twitter.com/khDyhr8cOa
