Vlad Guerrero Jr.'s magical, powerful bat is the only thing that can beat the Yankees unstoppable bullpen

I'm no scientist, so I can't tell you what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. However, the baseball equivalent happened on Wednesday night and the answer would surely confuse physicists the world over.

On one hand, you had the Yankees bullpen: They are the league's strongest -- with roughly four pitchers that would be other teams' bullpen aces, regularly decimating opponents through sheer pitching wizardry.

On the other, you had Vlad Guerrero Jr. of House Guerrero, whose mighty swing is so strong it could cause trees to fall in a forest across the country.

So, with the Yankees leading, 7-6, Guerrero Jr. stepped to the plate to face sinkerballing star Zack Britton. Britton threw a good pitch -- 95 mph and below the knees. It's the type of pitch few batters can hit anywhere but straight into the ground.

But Guerrero -- like his Dad before him -- can destroy anything and everything. That low sinker turned into a soaring liner that gave the Blue Jays the lead they would not relent.

The baby Guerrero is a much more disciplined hitter than his father, but this dinger has the familial stamp all over it, even if the youngster pulled it while Sr. went the other way on this one:

If this is what he can do on a pitch few batters can hit, what would it look like if he got to take part in the Home Run Derby?

Of course, Wednesday's dinger meant that Guerrero would have to withstand the post-game bath which, judging from these photos, was not something he was looking forward to.
