Yoenis Cespedes gave his batting gloves to a young fan

When most autograph seekers go to the ballpark, they leave with jack.
Jack Corrado leaves with autographs. A 12-year-old baseball fan from Baltimore, Corrado has turned once-in-a-lifetime player interactions into habit.
On vacation with his family, Corrado stood behind the rope line during batting practice at George M. Steinbrenner Field before some Mets-Yankees Grapefruit League action. He waited quietly for his chance. And his patience paid off.
"Mr. Cespedes! Mr. Cespedes!" He called out to the Mets' star outfielder as he wrapped up his round of BP.
Yoenis Cespedes approached the group of fans. Not intimidated, Corrado asked, "Can I have your bat?" Cespedes laughed it off. Corrado negotiated, "Can I have your batting gloves?"
Done. Deal.
Cespedes reached into his pocket and pulled out his game-worn gloves. Corrado didn't miss a beat, making sure his new favorite possessions were signed by the All-Star.
This isn't the first time Corrado has been luckier at life than you are. On a 2015 trip, he met Yankees RHP Masahiro Tanaka and walked away with a signed jersey. His mother says the jersey is framed and hangs proudly in their home.
