It's time to vote: Which home run from Red Sox-Indians ALDS Game 1 was the best?
Do you dig the long ball? If so, the first game of the Boston-Cleveland ALDS Thursday night was the game for you. The matchup featured six solo shots -- accounting for six of the nine total runs scored on the evening.
This got us thinking: Which long fly was the best? Take a look back at the home runs and then help us decide.
3rd inning -
The first homer of the night came off the bat of 22-year-old rookie Andrew Benintendi -- who entered the game with just two career Major League home runs -- in his first career postseason plate appearance. This go-ahead blast made Benintendi the youngest Red Sox player ever to homer in a postseason game.

Not to be outdone, Indians catcher Roberto Perez led off the bottom of the 3rd and proceeded to homer in his first career postseason at-bat to knot the game back up at 2.

Two batters later, Jason Kipnis stepped to the plate and absolutely crushed a homer to deep right-center field to give the Indians their first lead of the night and ignite the Cleveland crowd.

Just two pitches after that, Francisco Lindor lifted the crowd's energy impossibly higher with an elegant, arcing shot to right field. The third home run of the inning gave the Indians a 4-2 lead.
5th inning -
Sandy Leon brought the Red Sox to within one with a laser shot to right-center field. Of course, this homer took him twice as long to achieve as those of Benintendi and Perez as this was merely Leon's second career postseason at-bat.
8th inning -
The biggest play in the game by Win Probability Added was Brock Holt's leadoff solo shot in the 8th inning. The ball just snuck over the right-field wall to shrink Cleveland's lead to one with six outs still remaining for Boston's offense. Unfortunately for Boston, this was the final run scored on the evening.

Sure, it wasn't a home run, but just look at that majestic blast off the bat of Mike Napoli. He sent the ball out of the stadium!
