Listen to Vin Scully tell a story about the day he heard about the attack on Pearl Harbor

Each home game, the Dodgers honor a veteran with their Military Hero of the Game program. The veteran receives four tickets, and appears on the field for the national anthem. On Wednesday, for L.A.'s game against Philadelphia, Corporal Noboru "Don" Seki was chosen for the honor.
Seki, a WWII veteran, enlisted after the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. He fought with the all-Japanese American 442nd Regimental Combat Team, which is the most decorated unit in American military history. Inspired by Seki's story, Vin Scully shared his own memory of Pearl Harbor Day. To hear the full tale (featuring the first time and only time he ever heard his father swear), click play above.
