Yasiel Puig's arm is so powerful, it probably titled Earth's axis
Sure, March 20 is the vernal equinox, which marks the official beginning of spring. Now, allegedly, the time the sun crosses the celestial equator is how we know the seasons have changed. But we have a different theory, and it has everything to do with Yasiel Puig's insane arm.
During Sunday's Padres-Dodgers game, Cory Spangenberg singled into right field. Puig picked up the ball, and then made a throw so powerful it not only got the out at third, it very slightly shifted the Earth's axis and definitively pulled the Northern Hemisphere from winter to spring:
This is real science -- it happens every year around this time. Now, isn't that better than blooming crocuses or whatever?
