Mo'ne Davis is unstoppable! Dragons ace throws another shutout at Little League World Series
Mo'ne Davis throws another shutout at LLWS
I don't envy teams facing Philadelphia's Taney Dragons in the Little League World Series. Because where there's the Taney Dragons, there's Mo'ne Davis: the 70-mph-throwing only-girl-on-the-team absolute monster of an ace.
After becoming the first girl to ever throw a complete game shutout in a Little League World Series qualifying game on Monday, Davis ended her week in style: She became the first girl to throw a complete game shutout in the actual Little League World Series.
Going up against Nashville, Tenn., Davis blanked the team for six innings giving up only two hits, walking none and striking out eight.
As for the upcoming pitch-off with Clayton Kershaw ? He may want to start practicing:
If Mo'ne keeps pitching like Pedro Martinez circa 1997, the Phillies will need to record a new video congratulating the team on their title:
The Taney Dragons will be back in action on Sunday playing the winner of Friday's Texas - Rhode Island game. Be sure to set those DVRs.
