A fan in Texas proved you don't have to be a Major Leaguer to make a great leaping catch

The quickest way to find yourself in an MLB highlight reel is to make a stunning, leaping catch while crashing into an immovable object behind you. Case in point, this Carlos Gomez catch from the Rangers' 2-1 win against the Indians on Sunday: 

See? That's great! Well, what if I told you that such astonishing catches are not limited to the field of play? Behold:

That fan was also at Sunday's Indians-Rangers game, and he went airborne to reel in the souvenir off the bat of Adrian Beltre. And, in doing so, he made a memorable defensive play of his own.
But here's the thing: That fan's catch came in the bottom of the fourth inning, while Gomez's catch was in the top of the fifth inning.
We're not saying this fan inspired Gomez to make a similar amazing play minutes later, but we're also not not saying that.
