The Tigers may have the Rally Goose, but their Triple-A affiliate has the Rally Possum

The story of the Tigers' Rally Goose is straight out of a fairytale -- showing up during a rain delay at Comerica Park and immediately flying its way into our hearts and the Detroit dugout forever. It's the kind of coincidence that comes only once in a blue moon, so random that it could never possibly happen again.
... unless, of course, the entire animal kingdom has conspired to assist the Tigers organization like some cross between Angels in the Outfield and Air Bud. Which, after what happened during Tuesday night's Toledo Mud Hens game, is a theory worth taking seriously:

Detroit's Triple-A affiliate was about to begin the bottom of the 10th inning against the Buffalo Bisons when, out of nowhere, a possum appeared on the warning track out in center field.
Toledo walked off on a double by Jim Adduci just a few minutes later, and lo, the Rally Possum was born:

"I guess the Tigers get a swan and we get a rodent," Mud Hens manager and former Twins first baseman Doug Mientkiewicz told MLB.com's Jason Beck. "So that's fine with us. It worked."
