This first pitch was good enough for induction into Alice Cooperstown
He might not have been the first Rock and Roll Hall of Famer to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at Rogers Centre this year, but it's still pretty cool to see Alice Cooper doing the honors.
"I grew up in Detroit," Cooper said. "You woke up in the morning and you played baseball every day. My room was like a shrine to Al Kaline and those guys, Harvey Kuenn, Charlie Maxwell and all those great Detroit Tigers. Every once in a while, we actually got to go to a game at Briggs Stadium. Baseball was such a big part of my life."
After his pitch, the Detroit native went over to shake hands with manager Jim Leyland of the visiting Tigers.
