The Twins' Prince Night will feature some amazing purple hats and inflatable guitars
What are the two most famous things people associate with Minnesota? No, not the Mall of America. Not Scotch Tape or Post-It Notes (both invented in St. Paul, Minn.). It's the Twins, of course, and The High Priest of Pop.
His Royal Badness.
Prince. Rogers. Nelson.
Since Prince passed away in 2016, Target Field has paid tribute to the Minneapolis native with special theme nights featuring music, fireworks and purple umbrellas. And once again, during a June 8 game against the Angels this season, the Twins will celebrate the life of the musical icon. The first 10,000 fans will get an inflatable purple guitar that will light up during a seventh-inning stretch ceremony and, for those extra-big Prince fans, a special package will be available to purchase these purple, love symbol-emblazoned hats.

Everybody should go to this game.
