'The Sandlot' cast reunited at Dodger Stadium for the film's 25th anniversary

Before Saturday's 3-1 win over the Giants, the Dodgers hosted a reunion with a cast of "The Sandlot" on the 25th anniversary of the film's release. Yes, the movie that defined childhood for thousands of baseball fans is now old enough to rent a car, which is a frightening thought. 
Dodger Stadium was the perfect location for the reunion considering that Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez became a big league star with the team: 

Everyone was on hand on Saturday -- even Smalls: 

The players got jerseys with the names you know by heart -- Yeah-Yeah, Ham, Repeat -- stitched on the back: 

Even better, the players received an introduction fit for legends: 

And then, when the game was over, the fans stuck around to watch the film on the Dodger Stadium screens. It's as if the movie was waiting to be shown inside the ballpark cathedral:
