The 10 best All-Star fashion moments of the recent past

During the regular season, a ballplayer's fashion decisions are largely limited to the height of the socks, bagginess of the uniform and fold of the cap's brim. But the 2017 All-Star Game presented by Mastercard is different. It's a time to let your hair down and let your spikes shine. After all, it was at the All-Star Games of the 1970s when players broke away from the black cleat restrictions to wear sparkling white shoes.

The best All-Star Game uniform: 2004 All-Star Game

Before the Astros went back to the throwback look with rainbow piping, the 2004 All-Star Game jerseys honored the heritage of Houston unis of yore with the star and orange piping down the sleeves.
