Stomper and some mascot friends got to rock out with the UC-Berkeley band

During Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Angels, the A's held Cal Night at the Coliseum. It was a chance for the team to connect to its hometown school, celebrate Cal grads Marcus Simien and Bob Melvin and even pick up a sweet beanie. Most important, however, it was a chance for Stomper, Giant Rickey Henderson and Giant Dennis Eckersley to jam with the Cal marching band.
"But wait," you say. "Stomper is an elephant, an animal notably lacking opposable thumbs. How can he play music?" To that, we can only respond: Never tell Stomper the odds.

Even mascot Rickey is cool enough to wear shades at night.
