Stephen Vogt's daughter steals his interview
If you're ever worried about giving a big speech, it's a good idea to bring along a young child with you. After all, last NBA postseason saw Stephen Curry's press conferences overshadowed by his daughter Riley. And Stephen Vogt just had his interview on Intentional Talk on Thursday upstaged by his own children.
On the show to discuss his Esurance MLB Award for best interview and to talk about his favorite Thanksgiving foods (green bean casserole) and who he wouldn't invite over (Josh Reddick), it was hard to pay attention to Vogt thanks to his wonderful kids.
With his son, Clark, playing the straight man in the background and his daughter, Paige, impersonating Buster Keaton on his lap, nothing the A's catcher said could possibly match up with their youthful exuberance.

Which maybe was Vogt's plan all along. Knowing that he couldn't top his award winning 'view, he went the other way and simply outcuted us. Well played.
