A Pirates fan came all the way from Indiana to give Starling Marte a bouquet

There are many ways to show your favorite player you appreciate him. You can wear a shirsey with his name on it, or if you prefer a more permanent option, you can get a tattoo of him. If you want, you can even change everything about yourself and slowly metamorphose into him.  
Or you can be like Pirates fan Jordan McClure, who gave her favorite player a nice spring bouquet before Monday's game against the Reds: 

Starling Marte appreciated McClure's gift and wanted to show it. Now, normally you'd wear a single blossom on your lapel, but baseball uniforms are notoriously lapel-free. Don't worry, though -- Marte came up with a pretty good solution:
