A Shohei Ohtani doll showed up on a Japanese TV show and hit a dinger
Shohei Ohtani has obviously gotten his Major League career off to a great start. Besides striking out over 11 batters per nine innings on the mound, the 24-year old has arguably been more impressive at the plate. In his first 148 plate appearances, he has a .873 OPS and seven home runs.
In fact, he's been so good at the plate, that even miniature likenesses of Ohtani -- even ones with flirty eyebrows -- have the strength to knock the ball out of the park:
so I'm watching this Japanese tv show and they introduced a new member it's a Shohei Ohtani puppet! 😂 it can even hit homeruns! I've never been amazed and creeped out at the same time 😂😲😂 pic.twitter.com/njfvi9Nlc4

The doll's swing is a surprisingly accurate re-creation of Ohtani's home-run stroke:
Now that we know that this doll can hit dingers like Ohtani, only one question remains: Can it throw a 100 mph fastball?
