This collegiate summer league coach pretended to be the umpire after being ejected
Manager ejections are like summer blockbusters. Sure, they're always fun, but rarely do they elevate above the explosive bluster to become true art. Not so for Sean West, a coach for the Savannah Bananas in the collegiate Coastal Plain League.
After he was ejected on Thursday night, he decided to grab a mask and pantomime the umpire's strike zone. He got behind the catcher and, when the pitch was well off the plate, made an exaggerated and almost super heroic strike call:
