Clayton Kershaw's gem in Game 2 of the NLDS earned him a standing ovation from Sandy Koufax
The Dodgers' pitching staff has been too much to handle for the Braves so far in this NLDS. First, Hyun-Jin Ryu baffled Atlanta with seven shutout innings en route to a 6-0 win for Los Angeles.
In Game 2 on Friday, Clayton Kershaw took the hill and picked up right where Ryu left off the night before. In fact, Kershaw threatened to pitch a "Maddux" -- a shutout with fewer than 100 pitches. He didn't get it, as Kenley Jansen navigated the ninth in the Dodgers' 3-0 win, but he did get perhaps the next-best thing: a standing ovation from Sandy Koufax.
The Dodgers legend was on hand at the ballpark for the evening (as he usually is for Kershaw games in October), and paid his respects after Kershaw struck out
