Royals show off their World Series trophy and pick up their WWE belt on the same day
Ninety-nine percent of the time, being a sports fan means accepting defeat. Even in the best of years, chances are your team is not going to report to camp as the world's champion. Royals fans know that better than most, having lost in the World Series in 2014 before getting their due last year. So this year, the team is living it up -- as it should.
Not only have the Royals added a crown to their Spring Training caps, making one of the best fashion statements possible, but on Saturday they showed off their trophy to the fans at Surprise Stadium.
They even made sure the trophy was plenty comfortable on the trip. My only question: Does this count as a carry-on or did it require its own ticket?

That wasn't the only silverware the team got to show off, though. Eric Hosmer posted a photo of the Royals' WWE belt. Sadly, we have no video of the chair match that surely preceded this moment.
Sadly, the Royals would lose, 7-6, to the White Sox. Probably because too much of a good thing can be bad.
