Adrian Beltre nearly slipped a fake catch by all of us, continues to be the greatest
During every MLB game, as sure as there's a crowd, four bases and a Trevor Story home run, there's usually some bout of Adrian Beltre wonderfulness. On Sunday, it was a James Brown impersonation and during the Rangers' 7-3 win over the Mariners on Monday, it was a faux catch off of a fan's hand:
Look at Beltre after the play: Not only is he pretending that he actually caught the ball, but he also seems to be simultaneously asking us, "Are you not entertained?!"
Yes, Adrian, we will believe that you caught that ball and, yes, we are, as always, quite thoroughly entertained.
