Rams star Todd Gurley, a big Manny Machado fan, wore a Dodgers jersey to his press conference
Rams running back Todd Gurley has roots in Baltimore. Spending so much time in the area, he became rather enamored with watching Orioles star
In 2015, he was drafted by the Rams, then in St. Louis, and began his pro football career. Flash forward three years, Gurley is playing in Los Angeles after the Rams relocated, and Machado now calls the city home after he was dealt to the Dodgers over the summer.
Welcome to the city brother. My Favorite player https://t.co/PimM1jjUzm

With the Dodgers one win away from a potential return visit to the World Series (Game 6 of the NLCS is coming up on Friday night), the city of Los Angeles is feeling pretty good about the Boys in Blue at the moment -- and the same can be said for Gurley, who proudly wore a Machado jersey for his Thursday media session:
"[The @Dodgers are] one game away from going to the World Series back to back. When you see stuff like that, it's just more like inspiration. You want that feeling as well." - @TG3II pic.twitter.com/Cr9GEZfOFZ
