Progressive Field scoreboard requests mercy from Mike Napoli and his mammoth home runs

Among the five home runs mashed by the Indians in their 10-2 win over the Yankees on Friday was Mike Napoli's 460-footer, the team's longest of the year, which bounced in the center-field bleachers and ricocheted off the Progressive Field scoreboard.

The brand-new scoreboard, that is. So, fearing that Napoli would repeat the feat on Saturday, it took a moment before the game to politely request mercy.

Not that it doesn't want Napoli hitting home runs that far -- just if he could aim slightly to the left or right, that'd be great.
And, while we're on the subject of Innocent Bystanders In The Path of Mike Napoli Home Runs, Tribe drummer and superfan John Adams (not the president, probably) also has a message for the Indians' designated hitter:
