In 16 career games facing the Tigers, Shane Victorino batted .291/.355/.473 with three homers and 10 RBIs. In one career vacation facing a real live tiger, Victorino batted 1.000/1.000/4.000 with one "I'm smiling but also terrified this tiger is going to use me as a claw post":
Victorino, who's on vacation with his family this week, made a visit to Tiger World in Thailand and snapped this photo with a tiger that definitely didn't look like it thought it would enjoy the Flyin' Hawaiian like he enjoys beef jerky. We can only assume they're best friends now.
Apparently, once you hit a series-winning grand slam against the baseball Tigers in the ALCS, the real thing isn't so scary.
