It was also the most strikeouts by a Dodger pitcher in a World Series since Sandy Koufax had 15 way back in 1965. Funny enough, the former generational ace was there to greet the present-day generational ace postgame.

We're surprised the camera was able to capture that much brilliance in one shot. Kershaw talked about their relationship postgame.
"Yeah, [Koufax is] in our corner. He's rooting for us. I've said it a million times, but he's a special guy. Not too many guys can have that pedigree and be the kind of man he is. And thankful that I've gotten to hang out with him for a little while."
