If you told someone you were going to get dressed up in your glitziest fineries before going to the zoo, people would say you were insane. But if you make those animals run against each other, well, all of a sudden it makes total sense.
Yes, Sunday was the 143rd running of the Kentucky Derby -- the most famous and glamorous of horse races -- and everyone was decked out in their most fashionable duds to watch Always Dreaming take home the prize.
Naturally, that included David Ortiz. Ortiz showed up in a gorgeous pinstriped blue jacket (though Red Sox fans may shiver at the very idea of pinstripes on Ortiz) and patterned blue bow tie:
He then hung out with his buddy Tom Brady, who looked like a fashionable farmer in his suit jacket with peaked lapels and a sun hat.
