Noah Syndergaard had jokes when asked about the Little League World Series
When asked about playing in the Little League Classic this weekend during Monday's Mets-Yankees game, Syndergaard responded in a way that -- well, just look:
In-game interview on ESPN between announcers and Noah Syndergaard: “How much are you looking forward to the Little League Classic next weekend?” Syndergaard: “Hopefully none of those kids has hand, foot and mouth (disease).” 😂

The Mets thought their star pitcher had contracted the disease when he was serving as a guest instructor at a youth baseball camp during the All-Star break.
Nevertheless, Thor looks forward to being there:
Nice to hear @mets @Noahsyndergaard talk tonight on @ESPN about how much they’re looking forward to visiting the @LittleLeague World Series for the @MLB Little League Classic..16 teams anxiously awaiting your arrival...the kids are excited!

But yes, let's hope the kids have other things to concentrate on. Like hitting dingers.
