Tyler Duffey, who gave up a 493-foot homer to Nelson Cruz in 2016, is happy they're teammates now
The Twins continued their offseason reloading plan en route to a hopeful (or probable, depending on who you ask) postseason appearance in 2019 by agreeing to a one-year deal with Nelson Cruz on Thursday.
Cruz adds his potent Boomstick to the Minnesota lineup, which ought to inject some serious offense. After all, Cruz is quite adept at mashing dingers all over the field, and he's already looking forward to his debut in a Twins jersey:

Another individual quite stoked about Cruz's arrival in Minneapolis? Right-hander
Duffey, who turned 28 years old on Thursday, expressed his excitement about the deal in kind:
Birthday wish granted........don’t have to face @ncboomstick23 this year 😅😅😅 https://t.co/J7OUUJ2p3I
