Originally built at Rosemont Park in New York, Skyliner moved to Lakemont Park in Altoona after Rosemont closed in 1985. The wooden coaster now sits just beyond the right-field wall at PNG Field, where it's a prime spot to catch the Pirates affiliate in action -- and hey, maybe even catch a home run:
Skyliner is even painted with the Curve's logo and colors, with "Go Curve" running along the side. Alas, the coaster's dips and drops didn't give the Curve their name: That comes from the Horseshoe Curve, a stretch of railroad that cuts through the nearby Allegheny Mountains.
