Mookie Betts nearly pulled off an incredible double play on this spinning catch and throw

Mookie Betts had a regular season for the ages -- not only did his Red Sox win an MLB-best 108 games, but he led the league in batting average and slugging percentage en route to posting a 1.078 OPS. (And, of course, doing stuff like this in the outfield.)
But that was the regular season. October is where legacies are made, success and failure defined. Would it take Betts long to make his mark on Boston's ALDS against the Yankees? It took him exactly three innings to provide the answer:

With Gleyber Torres on first, Andrew McCutchen lined one toward Pesky's Pole down the right-field line ... at which point Betts ran the ball down and, all in one motion, spun and fired an absolute seed to first. It wasn't quite in time to double off Torres, but really, just look at that throw.
