Mookie Betts finished runner-up to NBA star Chris Paul in a celebrity bowling tournament
Football might have been the focus of the sports world on Sunday, but Mookie Betts had other plans. He was bowling at NBA All-Star Chris Paul's CP3 PBA Celebrity Invitational in The Woodlands, Texas, alongside professional bowler Bill O'Neill.
The day started well for Betts, who began with a strike:

Although the tandem of NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens and Pete Weber won the tournament in 2016, Betts and O'Neill went on to eliminate them, 130-73.

Betts and O'Neill would fall to the host, Paul, and his teammate, Norm Duke (who literally almost fell himself), but the Red Sox star was part of the winning team in a separate Baker format team match. Betts' Bowleros All-Star squad of Owens and bowlers Sean Rash, Hannah Diem and Logan Harvey defeated Paul's group, 215-158.
That's definitely putting the "bowl" in Super Bowl Sunday.
