Mookie Betts became a father just 9 days after winning the World Series
It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks for star outfielder Mookie Betts. On Oct. 28, he won his first World Series ring when the Red Sox took down the Dodgers in five games. Then on Monday, Nov. 5, he captured his third straight Gold Glove Award and found out that he was among the top three vote-getters for American League Most Valuable Player.
The best news of all arrived on Tuesday -- Betts officially became a father. The delighted dad was kind enough to share a few photos of his baby girl on Instagram:
Betts and his fiancée couldn't look happier.
We can't wait to see how the Betts Chronicle will cover this exciting new story. Congratulations to the new family.
