Celebrate Mother's Day with the cutest photos of players with their moms

Moms have a difficult job. Not only do they have to bring us into the world, but they are relied on for love, kindness, emotional support and, of course, lunch money. 
If you're an athlete, chances are your mother did a fair amount of shuttling you back and forth to practice for decades, too. 
On Mother's Day weekend, Major League Baseball came together to wear pink uniforms, caps and cleats to honor Mom.

But for some, that wasn't enough. The Marlins put 'Mom' on the mound: 

Marcus Stroman left a message on his cleats and Francisco Peña hit two homers for dear ol' Mom. 
Plenty wanted to share adorable photos, too. 
Delino DeShields knew he was going to be following in his father's footsteps -- literally. But he also knew he wouldn't be there if not for Mom:
