MLB superstars ring in 2016 with dogs, grandmas and subtle World Series predictions
It's finally next year! Every team but the World Series champion Royals ended the 2015 season with cries of, "There's always next year." Well, it's finally next year.
For 29 teams, “next year” is finally here. #HappyNewYear pic.twitter.com/yXe6oiOp0Q

And, of course, NL Rookie of the Year Award finalist Matt Duffy seized the opportunity to point out to Giants fans -- and the rest of the baseball community -- what the New Year's celebration really means ...
By the way @SFGiants fans... if I'm not mistaken, we're ringing in an #EvenYear
