On June 20, 2003, a 20-year-old Venezuelan kid made his Major League debut in left field at Pro Player Stadium. That kid was Miguel Cabrera and his first MLB hit was a walk-off home run in the 11th inning:
Thirteen years later and Miggy's still got it. He moved to third base and then to first base and took his talents to the Motor City back in 2008. In 2015, Cabrera is hitting .345 with 15 home runs. He leads the American League in OBP, SLG and IBB.
