Michael Taylor's inside-the-park grand slam was against J.P. Crawford, who also hit one this season

We've seen inside-the-park home runs, and we love them dearly. They're not always easy to come by however. Remember the time Charlie Blackmon hit a ball deep into left-center field and many thought it was over the fence, but that wasn't the case? Or when Ichiro Suzuki hit the only inside-the-park homer in All-Star Game history? Well, Michael Taylor gifted us with an inside-the-park grand slam on Friday night against someone who hit one earlier in the season ... J.P. Crawford.
When the Nationals fell to the Phillies, 11-10, Taylor ripped a ball up the middle and over the head of center fielder Odúbel Herrera. After Daniel Murphy, Ryan Zimmerman and Matt Wieters crossed the plate, the third-base coach sent Taylor as he rounded third.

Herrera threw it to Crawford (coincidentally) who tossed it home, but it was too late: Taylor slid beyond the catcher and touched home plate with a little assistance from Murphy.

Crawford, who was recently promoted to the big leagues, hit an inside-the-park grand slam earlier in the season when he was with Triple-A Lehigh Valley -- and it was just as epic.

Who knew one ballpark could posess that much talent in a night?
