Let's join Keith Hernandez and the Mets' broadcast for another episode of 'Media Guide Musings'

Gather 'round kids, it's storytime. Only we are not going to tell you the story -- that's the job of Keith Hernandez and friends.
The Nationals beat the Mets on Tuesday night, 25-4. Those 25 runs were the most in a Major League game since 2007. And while the Washington bats were creating history, the Mets' broadcast team wanted to relive some historic times of their own by reading excerpts from the media guide, concentrating on the '69 Mets:

This occurred in the top of the eighth inning as the Nats were topping the Mets, 19-1, and the rain began to fall. What is cozier in those elements than a nice story?
As you can see, Hernandez, Ron Darling and Gary Cohen took turns passing around the guide and telling the tale of the 1969 World Series.
