Matt Moore's dog Griffin gets a haircut for charity
Matt Moore holds his dog Griffin, a chocolate golden doodle, in high esteem: "He's as smart as some humans," the Rays pitcher has said. So naturally, when the team had their heads shaved for charity, Griffin would get in on the action, too.
Look at him, wearing the cover and getting the clippers, like he thinks he's people. That's the most adorable dog grooming since Edward Scissorhands:
This is the fourth year the Rays have partnered with the Pediatric Cancer Foundation for "Cut for a Cure," though Griffin is the first dog to be shorn. But not the first dawg:
