The Marlins' first-base coach used wet pieces of lettuce under his helmet to stay cool

It may be the middle of August, but it seems like the summer will never end. The sun beats down and the thermometer keeps rising. Is there anything that can fight this oppressive heat? Turns out, there is: wet lettuce. If not for the Marlins' first-base coach, Perry Hill, we never would have known.
During the Marlins-Braves game on Monday afternoon, the coach that should now and forever be referred to as "Lettucehead" was spotted putting a wet piece of lettuce on his pate and under his helmet. 

Even better, Hill has a preference for cabbage. As Fox Sports Florida reported, Hill believes that "cabbage actually sits better on your head." The more you know.
