The Mariners are makin' waffles this year at Safeco Field

You wanna know what's happening at Safeco Field this season? This:

Well, most of it. There won't be a talking donkey or anything. The important takeway is: The Mariners will be making waffles.

Yes, we're makin' waffles. Another new creation at @safecofield this year: Authentic Liege Belgian Waffles from @sweetironwaffles, right downtown Seattle. Made from a rich Brioche yeasted dough studded with sweet pearls of sugar topped with powdered sugar or dipped in dark or white chocolate, these are featured at the concession stand near Section 136 on the Main Level.

As you can read in the caption, the waffles come from Seattle's own Sweet Iron Waffles and are "made from a rich Brioche yeasted dough studded with sweet pearls of sugar topped with powdered sugar or dipped in dark or white chocolate." 
Let's hope they become the next King's Court staple.
