5-foot-8 Marcus Stroman is the first Blue Jays pitcher to homer since 6-foot-9 Mark Hendrickson

Everything Marcus Stroman does, he does with style. Pitching, dancing, showing off his footwear of choice, it's all a cut above for the Blue Jays right-hander.
In Thursday's 9-0 win over the Braves at SunTrust Park, the Jays shot out to a 6-0 lead in the third inning ... but then the rains came, forcing a delay. Given the inclement weather and the big lead, would Stroman come back out once the rain let up, or would Toronto go to the bullpen?
Well, he came back with authority in the fourth inning. After Luke Maile hit a homer, Stroman hit a dinger of his own off Julio Teheran -- his first career home run:

He felt pretty good about it:

This happened to be Stroman's second career hit. The first was just a few weeks ago in St. Louis, a pinch-hit double in the 11th inning. A fun fact about these two hits: Stroman (who stands 5-foot-8) is now the first pitcher in Jays history with two extra-base hits in one season.
As for his homer's spot in team history, you'd have to go back to when Stroman was 12 years old for the last one.
